Story jar:: First of many

Today at lunch I dropped the first passage into my new story jar. I think these comments were inspired out of the guilt my meat-loving son experiences living with vegetarians...
WRG:: I wish you didn't have to kill the animals to make meat. We could have a beef stick farm. I'd always be out in the garden.
