What a lovely summer it has been. We spent two months at the Farm in the NC mountains. Most days were full of friends and relatives. It is always a joy to catch up with our loved ones in such a beautiful spot. These pictures are from our last evening at the farm. The kids hauled out the play fabric and "flew" all over the yard in the setting sun. Mom had come to help me pack up for the summer and she joined in the fun. It was fun and I hope the joy is evident...they are bittersweet images for me because they represent summer's end.
